BRIEF: To design a modern tropical themed garden with an exotic and colourful planting scheme. The garden should be suitable for entertaining whilst also creating space for play.
DESIGN RESPONSE: Combining natural materials to create a moody backdrop to the colourful planting was only part of the complex nature of this design. Retaining gabions terrace the site and a floating deck creates seating in the sun. The breeze hut and large oak cubes combine with all the other elements, such as the water feature and lighting to form an harmonious and practical design.
